Wright20.com features all of Wright's auctions and gallery exhibitions. Sleek, design-forward and easy to navigate, the site houses hundreds of thousands of images of art & design photographed in-house, a vast archive of past sales, publications and engaging editorial for collectors and design enthusiasts.
Working together with the in-house team of developers, I collaborated to build a custom CMS that allows Wright’s staff to produce bespoke editorial for auctions, dynamic content for a fast-paced publishing workflow, and intuitive tools for fast updates to content across sites. With several auctions launching weekly, across 6 different brands, the back-end needed to allow for creative decision making with quick turnaround. As the company expanded, tools were reconceived to work across brands - the system was adapted so data and images could flow across platforms from the single database and evergreen content could be applied for repeat offerrings. Unique modules for homepages, indexes and items allow the designer to add video content, slideshows, image collages, and numerous other content types for long or short-form copy.
Users can watch lots, follow artist & designers, pay their invoice and manage their bids from the user account pages. A seamless flow from account setup, login, registering to bid at auction, placing bids online, and live updates to the user’s bid status make the site easy & fun to use.
