Award-winning in design, beloved by clients and collectors, each book was thoughtfully art directed, photographed and designed in-house. The approach for photography, layout and format is considered with each collection. Care is taken to celebrate the works offered, juxtapose material in a compelling way, and display scholarship with authority. With extensive experience building catalogs & producing books at Wright, I am well versed in the full life cycle: photography & image management, retouching, layout, editing, pre-production, sourcing paper, various binding methods, and press checks. I love to interface with printers and problem solve creative solutions to bring special printed pieces to life.

Over my tenure at Wright, I designed & brought to press hundreds of catalogs & publications featuring single-owner collections of fine art, design, jewelry, decorative objects & antiques, carpets and even modernist homes. All content – from photography to editorial – was produced in-house and typically on very tight timelines. While producing books became less common in my last years at Wright, the rigor of print, typography & photography remained a part of the fiber of the creative studio and our design principles.
